United States History II

In this course we will examine the tremendous transformation of the United States for America from the latter part of the 19th, through the 20th, to the early 21st century. During this time the nation grew more rapidly than any nation before. By the mid-20th century it became the most powerful country in the world. Yet with this growth and power came daunting challenges and demands to build a more perfect union striving for equality and human rights.
